Private messages from Telegram opened in Firefox appear in the background of GNOME apps
Firefox indicates the issue is not with Firefox.
Steps to reproduce:
- Launch Firefox.
- Open the web version of Telegram (https://web.telegram.org/) in the left tab.
- Interact with Telegram.
- Navigate away from the Telegram tab in your browser without returning to it. Continue browsing other sites.
- Wait.
Result: Private messages from Telegram manifest in the backdrop of various applications. This might include Firefox itself when you are visiting other websites or other applications, such as Sublime Text or GNOME Image Viewer. Moreover, these private Telegram conversations become visible during window transitions in GNOME.
Screenshots captured using the print screen function do not display these messages, though they are visible on the monitor.
This could be reproduced without Telegram, but the backdrop of Telegram is quite distinctive to notice and understand the issue. In another case, various strange lines may appear in the background
