Removed Bluetooth devices don't automatically leave the quick settings menu
As the title suggests, removing Bluetooth devices using GNOME Settings doesn't remove them from the quick settings menu until the Bluetooth quick settings tile is toggled off and on.
I did a little prodding around with looking glass:
-
Main.panel.statusArea.quickSettings._bluetooth.quickSettingsItems[0]._removeDevice()
is being called with the path, as I replaced it with a simplelog()
to check what it was actually being given - The device never seems to actually be removed from
Main.panel.statusArea.quickSettings._bluetooth.quickSettingsItems[0]._deviceItems
- Calling
Main.panel.statusArea.quickSettings._bluetooth.quickSettingsItems[0]._onActiveChanged()
manually causes the menu to update correctly
Hopefully this should be fairly simple to reproduce, I managed it on my GNOME 44 and GNOME 45 machines
