Auto activate on-screen keyboard when using touch input
Feature summary
I am using a convertible notebook (Lenovo Yoga C940-14IIL), that can be folded to operate basically in tablet mode.
When using this tablet mode, i need the on-screen keyboard to type text into input fields.
Currently, this only works when I manually enable the on-screen keyboard in the accessibility settings, which comes with the problem that when I fold the notebook again and use it regularly with keyboard and touchpad, the on-screen keyboard appears again even tough I don't need it.
This means that I have to switch this setting, whenever I fold the notebook (I know about the accessibility settings menu in the status bar, but this is also not very comfortable).
It would be great if this could be done automatically somehow.
How would you like it to work
I don't know if Gnome can detect whether my device is in tablet mode or not, but if it does, it should enable the on-screen keyboard setting, when the mode is enabled and disable it when not.
If that's not possible, I could imagine that on the first touch input the OSK would be enabled and on the first touchpad/ keyboard input it would be disabled again.
Not perfect, but far better than what we have now.

I know about this extension, but it doesn't work for me unfortunately, and IMO you shouldn't need an extension for such basic functionality : https://github.com/FrancescoCaracciolo/OSK-Touchpad-inverse-toggle-Gnome-Ext
