Cursor doesn't fade to black
Affected version
Been a bug for a while now, I know for sure that GNOME 43.1 from the Arch repo is affected on both xorg and wayland.
Bug summary
Not super urgent, just a visual inconsistency. The mouse cursor doesn't fade to black with the rest of the desktop when the OS goes into sleep.
Steps to reproduce
- Go to Settings -> Power -> Screen Blank and set to 1 min (to see it quicker)
- Wait 1 minute with no keyboard/mouse input and with mouse in a visible position on screen.
What happened
My guess is that the cursor is always drawn last on the screen at all times.
What did you expect to happen
The cursor should either temporarily hide, also fade to black, or be drawn behind the fade to black effect.
Relevant logs, screenshots, screencasts etc.
I don't know of a good way to get a good screenshot of this.
