Mounting encrypted usb (LUKS): Dialog does not work and blocks the shell
If you want plug in an USB that has a LUKS-Encrypted file system present, a Dialog will appear and prompt you for the password.
The problem is, that neither entering the correct password, the wrong password or clicking abort does anything to the dialog. It just seems to be a dummy dialog, doing nothing but blocking the whole shell (can't dismiss it). Pulling the usb out or mounting the fs using cryptsetup in a different tty does not help either.
How to reproduce:
- Create a usb with an LUKS-Encrypted partition that accepts a password (in my case I used it with BTRFS).
- Plug the usb into the computer while running the gnome shell.
(It would also be nice, to not show this dialog when the usb has at least one unencrypted partition on it.)
