Unable to distinguish input audio devices in device picker
Affected version
Fedora Linux 37 GNOME 43.0
Bug summary
Multiple devices appear with the same name in the input device picker menu (requires trial-and-error until correct one is select or going to the Settings app).
Steps to reproduce
- Click on the speaker icon in the bottom right corner
- Click on the arrow pointing right to select a device
- See many devices labeled "Microphone"
- Open Settings app, navigate to Sound and notice the devices are actually different (name is like "Microphone - $device_name").
What did you expect to happen
Original device name shows up like in Settings or some other characteristic makes it easier to know which physical device is being selected.
