Quick settings: have a shortcut to bring the full settings
The new quick settings are great, but sometimes you want to open the full corresponding settings window and you currently cannot (in version 43.0). The only setting that has a way is the Wi-Fi settings, through the All Networks line in the unfold.
There could be many ways to implement that, for instance right clicking any quick setting could show a “Open full settings” menu, or hovering a quick setting could show a clickable cog icon. Or maybe most quick settings should be unfoldable anyway, and the last entry in the unfold could always be about opening the full settings.
These shortcuts would bring to the right section of the Settings app:
- Wi-Fi, for Wi-Fi
- Bluetooth ,for Bluetooth
- Power, for Power Profiles (by the way, the presets are called “Power Profiles” in the quick settings and “Power Modes” in the Settings app)
- Screen Display → Night Light, for Night Light
- Appearance, for Light/Dark Mode
- Wi-Fi, for Aeroplane Mode (by the way, this setting should maybe be duplicated in Bluetooth and Mobile since it applied to all?)
