Very small icons/workspaces when using 200% hidpi scaling (screenshot) (Ubuntu 22.04, Arch rolling, XOrg and Wayland)
Affected version
- Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and Arch (latest-rolling)
- GNOME Shell version 42.2 and 42.4 (rolling)
- Affects XOrg and Wayland
Bug summary
Hello :)
Icons, dock, and workspace windows become very small/unreadable when using hidpi 200% scaling. Everything else looks/works great. The small icons and padding are especially apparent when using variable/non-standard aspect ratios (resize-able VMs). I have attached an image for reference:
Steps to reproduce
- Stock Ubuntu 22.04 or Archinstall
- Log in under either Wayland or XOrg
- Change display setting to 200% hidpi scaling
