Wait for background image to load before fading to activities
Feature summary
Currently, when GNOME shell first starts, if the background image hasn't completely loaded by the time it is ready to display the activities view, it just shows a completely black background. I think this used to be the behavior when switching backgrounds as well, but that seems to have been fixed in 42.0.
How would you like it to work
Instead of fading in as soon as possible, GNOME shell should wait until the background image has loaded to fade in.
