Select All shortcut (Ctrl+A) in search bar doesn't work with Cyrillic keyboard layouts
Affected version
- Manjaro Linux
- Gnome Shell 41.1
- Wayland
Bug summary
Select All shortcut (Ctrl+A) in search bar doesn't work with Cyrillic keyboard layouts. When wrong search text is entered by mistake, not having the ability to quickly select and replace the search text breaks the flow significantly. Possibly doesn't work with other non-Latin layouts.
Steps to reproduce
- Set up a Cyrillic keyboard input source, e.g. Russian
- Open Activities overview
- Change language to Russian
- Select search bar and type some characters
- Press Ctrl+A
What happened

What did you expect to happen
