Suggestion; Make the OSK split creating accessability for tablet devices
Feature summary
I would like to be able to use the OSK keyboard on my thinkpad x12 detachable quickly.Currently, its small and stuck in the middle of the screen. This reduces usage to tapping the screen at a slow pace.
How would you like it to work
Gnome-OSK could be wedged in half putting each half near the left or right screen border. Currently the keyboard sits in the middle. If the keyboard was positioned near the edges of the screen it would allow fingers to hold the tablet and use the keyboard at the same time. Gnome-shell could possibly detect the screen edge and deposit the halfs there.

Currently other tablet enviroments such as apple's iPad OS and android use similar interfaces. It helps in typing quick short sentences and increases ergonomics.
