Bug summary
I use 5 workspaces and when I go to the activities view, if I go to a workspace 2 places away from the current one (e.g. workspace 4 from workspace 2), the current windows in that workspace will not be previewed and journalctl will have these messages:
Jul 18 13:47:28 metacore gnome-shell[1257]: clutter_paint_volume_set_width: assertion 'width >= 0.0f' failed
Jul 18 13:47:28 metacore gnome-shell[1257]: clutter_paint_volume_set_height: assertion 'height >= 0.0f' failed
Steps to reproduce
- Have desktop with 5 workspaces
- Have windows open on some of them
- Open activities from workspace 2
- Go to workspace 4 (or any workspace 2 places away from the current one)
What happened
No window previews, and sometimes I get flickering grey box covering third of the screen.
What did you expect to happen
Show window previews that can be dragged to other workspaces, etc.
