Make some use of the top bar
Feature summary
The top bar in the gnome desktop environment just shows the Activities, date and time and then the control panel. There are many apps written in GTK which uses a menu and also Qt apps uses it extensively but these menus consume the space on the useful screen and instead, the unused portion of the top bar can be of some use here. The inspiration can even be taken from the macOS. It is more logical to use the top bar to a full extent which as now is not utilised. having a permanent bar and also individual apps having there menu on their window is just waste of screen. Please have a feature which then can be used to enable and disable this global menus by tweak extension or something similer.
