Desktop gets out of focus after user re-logs in

Tumbleweed, gnome-shell-40.0-3.2.x86_64, Wayland

Steps to reproduce:

1. Logout
2. Log in (enter username + password)
3. Press alt+f2
4. Type xterm
5. Type a random command

Output: The generic desktop is not focused, the xterm is not focused and the command that the user types is written on the gnome search. Feel free to watch the following video: gnome_xterm_unfocused.mkv
