Error with screen rotate: Failed to set CRTC mode 1920x1080: No space left on device
I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 260. Previously rotating the laptop has rotated the screen in gnome shell fine, but lately I've begun to get an error when rotating 90 degrees. 180 degrees works fine. The error in the logs is
Failed to set CRTC mode 1920x1080: No space left on device
I've attached an strace of gnome shell when this occurs, it seems to be this ioctl call that fails
ioctl(11, DRM_IOCTL_MODE_SETCRTC, 0x7ffd7a7d45e0) = -1 ENOSPC (No space left on device)
Kernel version: 4.17.3, same issue also with 4.16 Gnome-shell: 3.28.2 running on Wayland
