[Suggestion] Make the shell's top bar smaller vertically ( decrease the height of the top bar)
I think that the current top bar height is way too big especially if you have a laptop whose screen real estate is limited vertically. I would like the default appearance of gnome shell to have a slimmer top bar similar to what can be done when changing #panel { height: ;} in a theme's gnome-shell.css file and then setting it as the theme of choice for gnome shell using user themes extensions. In other words, I think that the padding around the text in the top bar should be slimmed down.
