App grid sizing/spacing
The exact sizing and spacing of app icons on the app grid, app folders, and to some extent the dash, is important to get right for that view to feel balanced.
A few high level constraints:
- When possible all icons (dash, appgrid, folders) should be the same size
- Icons on the app grid and in folders should always be the same size
- When possible icons should be 64, so we should be conservative in switching to 96
- Never use sizes below 64px for icons in app grid and app folders (shrinking the dash is less problematic, but should still be avoided whever possible)
- Don't use the entire width for the app grid on wide displays. It looks weird and causes problems when having the icons from the next page "peek in"
- First and foremost, we want the the layout to look good on the most common resolutions (e.g. 1920x1080, 1366x768, 2560x1440 and so on)
