Ctrl+Alt+Down works on the lock screen, and strangeness follows. Tested on 3.38 (Ubuntu 21.04)
- Lock the screen.
- Make the password prompt appear.
- Ctrl+Alt+Down
- Type anything and then hit Enter
Expected: Password dots appear and if it's your password then the screen unlocks.
Observed: No password dots appear, the VT seems to switch to the gdm login screen when you hit Enter. There you can enter your password again, which then takes you back to the lock screen which now animates an unlock.
