Need an adaptive multi-columns layout (for world clocks and weather) when height is insufficient to display elements in the notifications menu
As you can see with this screenshot, sometimes when I have a couple of calendar items showing up, in addition to my many timezones, the weather information gets cut off:
At that point, it would make sense for some of those elements to be spread across 3 columns instead of 2. I have an ultra-wide screen layout, there's plenty of available horizontal space. This would probably go well with @aday's general "going horizontal" direction for GNOME 40?
Some elements that would be great to relocate to a third column, particularly when you already have a bunch of calendar appointments (below the calendar) filling up the 2nd column already:
- World clocks / timezones cities
- Weather forecast
