Gnome shell clock stops updating when an application goes full screen

Bug summary
Returning from a full-screen video or any other application that has been in full-screen mode, top-bar clock shows the wrong time. It shows the time before entering full-screen mode.
Steps to reproduce
- Put an application in full-screen mode or play a video in full-screen mode.
- Exit the full-screen mode and check the time on Gnome top-bar. It'll show the wrong time.
- Clock will update again on mouse hover or on the next minute.
What happened
Gnome showed the wrong time.
What did you expect to happen
I expect Gnome to show the right time when I exit full-screen mode in an application to have a glance at the clock.
