Windows move while resizing
Affected version
- GNOME 3.38.1 (Wayland)
- Fedora 33 Beta
- 4K display with 2x scaling if that matters.
Bug summary
Windows move around weirdly when resizing
Steps to reproduce
- Open GNOME Terminal
- Resize from any corner other than the bottom-right
While I recommend testing with the terminal, you can see the same bug with other apps such as gedit. I think the terminal is worse because of the way that it snap to an integer number of characters.
What happened
The window moves across the screen as you resize
What did you expect to happen
The corner from which you're resizing should remain pinned to the resize cursor and the opposite corner should remain fixed.
