Windows from neighboring workspaces sometimes shown during the overview animation
This was a regression after updating from 3.34 to 3.36, that I haven't managed to report earlier. Tested with gnome-shell 3.36.5, I haven't been able to test with 3.37 yet unfortunately.
To reproduce:
- Open a maximized window on topmost workspace (e.g. nautilus).
- Open some other window on a workspace below the first one.
- Go to application overview, while on the second workspace.
- On overview, click and drag the window around.
- Exit overview.
- The window on the first workspace is partly visible on the top screen edge during the overview exit animation.
Screencap demonstrating this behavior: Screencast_from_12-08-20_21_13_30
The glitch doesn't happen if you don't move the window on the overview (i.e. step 4.). The first window doesn't always have to be maximized, but with maximized windows this seems easiest to reproduce.
With dash-to-dock extension enabled, the glitch is visible on the bottom screen edge as well.
