Trying to take a screenshot to a non-existent window results in the inability to take screenshots

Bug summary
If I accidentally press Ctrl + Alt + PrntScr (shortcut to take a screenshot to the active window) and I have no windows opened, then I can't take screenshots anymore until I restart the session.
Steps to reproduce
- Press Ctrl + Alt + PrntScr (or the shortcut that you've configured to take screenshots to the active window)
- You'll hear a little sound
- You can't take screenshots anymore
What happened
GNOME Shell took away my ability to take screenshots
What did you expect to happen
Allow me to continue taking screenshots without having to restart the session
