OSK french layout not activated on standard configuration
Using GNOME 3.34.1 with a standard french installation, the OSK is showing in qwerty/english
It seems GNOME does a strict matching of the locale/keyboard layout names, which means that the french 'azerty' layout is only correctly picked by the OSK when an 'fr' layout is configured. The problem is that 'fr' is an old and unmaintained layout which has been replaced years ago by 'fr+oss' which is nowadays the default layout when you do a french installation in Debian, Fedora or Ubuntu (and probably other distributions as well).
Unsure what would be the right fix there, having a mapping table for such cases? Generating a fr+oss layout in addition of the fr one?
