Recently launched applications not recognized by application switcher
I'm on Fedora Workstation 31 using the regular GNOME variant.
When I launch any application it won't be recognized by the application switcher for a few seconds (around 20s I guess). I also noticed, that GNOME seems to process anything with the launched application, because there is a spinner beside the application name in the panel. The application itself is fully useable and can also be located via activity screen.
It's annoying, because when I launch KeePassXC for example and copy any username/password combo that I want to use in Firefox, then I'm not able to switch between KeePass and Firefox.
That has already been working on the Ubuntu 18.04 GNOME version on the same hardware (Dell XPS 13 1980), so it must be a problem with my gnome-shell version (3.34.1) or a different handling between Xorg/wayland (I'm using wayland).
Edit: added info about usage of wayland.
