nohup ineffective when invoked as keyboard shortcut
Test case: Let's say we have the following script in /home/me/bin/touch-after-delay
:
#!/bin/bash
sleep 10
touch /home/me/tick
If I run nohup /home/me/bin/touch-after-delay &
from a terminal window under gnome-shell, the file tick
gets updated even if I log out from gnome-shell meanwhile. This is as expected. However when I assign the same nohup /home/me/bin/touch-after-delay &
command to a gnome keyboard shortcut, and press the respective keys, my script will NOT run if I log out before the 10 second delay.
This happens in gnome-shell 3.34.0 and was not an issue before.
