Please build extension update and review milestones into your release timelines
It is common that many shell extensions are broken on launch of a new version due to late breaking changes in the shell and the lack of any extensions.gnome.org reviews occurring around the time of release.
Can a milestone date for extension submission, some time beyond the release candidate creation, and before final release, be provided in the timeline? The goal would be to allow developers a short window to fix any issues and provide a new submission, with a guarantee that a review will occur before the final release.
Then, users on rolling distributions could enjoy the newest gnome shell releases without losing ability to use their preferred extensions.
Thank you!
