screen shield can be lifted only by mouse after calling xdg-screensaver activate
If I use xdg-screensaver activate
to activate the screen shield and let my monitor power off (without locking the session), the shield can then be operated only by mouse. It can't be raised by keyboard. That's inconvenient for some and is an accessibility issue for others.
On the other hand, when I call xdg-screensaver lock
or use the Lock icon from gnome-shell's top right user menu, the shield can be operated by keyboard just fine.
There must be a bug somewhere that makes keyboard input go ignored, when the shield is active but the session is not locked. Can you please fix that?
This happens on two separate installations of Fedora 30 (gnome-shell-3.32.2-2.fc30
) and a virtual machine with Fedora 31 Rawhide (gnome-shell-3.33.3-1.fc31
), so this is probably affecting everyone and should be trivial to reproduce.
