apps-menu: Categories list isn't aligned with the menu button
gnome-shell-extensions 45.1 on Fedora 39: if I click the applications menu button and then move the pointer down, one of two things happens:
- My pointer scrolls over the list of favourite apps
- I find the pointer in an awkward zone between the category list and the app list, which leads to be sometimes accidentally activating an app category that I didn't want
This is because there's a tendency to move the pointer down once the menu is activated:
With a conventional menu design, the top level of menu items would be horizontally aligned with the menu button, so that moving the pointer down from its initial position browses the top level before potentially descending into a submenu. The obvious fix would be to ensure that the left-edge of the app category list is aligned to the left edge of the button menu, so it appears like this:
