Incorrect window placement in workspace switcher after session lock
Affected version
gnome-shell-3.38.1-2.fc33
GNOME Classic (X session)
Bug summary
After unlocking the screen, the workspace switcher displays incorrect window placement for the current workspace until I move the current window.
Steps to reproduce
- Switch to empty workspace, open one window (probably not required)
- Lock screen
- Unlock screen
- Note workspace indicator is messed up
- Move window
- Note workspace indicator is no longer messed up
What happened
Screenshot after screen is locked, notice the strange tiny window in the middle of the third workspace indicator, and notice the Calculator window is missing:
It looks like the currently-focused window on each workspace is missing from the workspace switcher? Notice in my next screenshot below, there are more windows on each workplace.
What did you expect to happen
Screenshot before screen is locked, notice the Calculator window is displayed correctly in the third workspace indicator (bottom right):
This one looks right. Notice there are more windows on every workspace than in the screenshot above.
