Gnome settings does not remember my sound output device
Every time I start up my computer or wake it from suspend, I have to choose the correct sound output device because gnome settings does not remember my choice. This is very irritating.
I'm not sure it's relevant, because that contains the entire issue, but my setup is:
- usb mic and usb amp plugged into monitor's USB bus
- monitor hooked to computer via DisplayPort
Every time gnome wakes up, it chooses to try and route audio output to my usb mic instead of my usb amp.
The behavior I would like is that once I've chosen the amp, I would like gnome settings to remember that it's my preferred device.
I do not know if this is the right project to file this bug with; apologies if it's the wrong one and if you could direct me to the right one I would appreciate it.
