Touchpad disable doesnt carry over boot

Submitted by alc..@..ive.de

Link to original bug (#699098)

Description

Observed behavior:

  1. Disable touchpad using Fn-F8
  2. Shut Down and Boot up again
  3. Touchpad is activated

Expected: Touchpad should stay disabled.

The problem appeared after switching to the Staging Ubuntu ppa on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, it didn't occur on the main Gnome ppa.

I'm using the newest packages from the Gnome ppas.

The device is a SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad.

Version: 3.8.x
