Delay between login attempts is too long in 3.36
My distro (Debian Sid) has just upgraded to 3.36. I noticed a significant difference in delay in being able to re-type a password at the login screen after a failed login (which I seem to keep doing a lot recently).
Previously upon trying to login, if the password was wrong it would pause for a moment before showing a failure message and allowing you to type it in again. Now, it first pauses for a moment as before, then shakes the textbox, and then pauses for several moments longer, before finally restoring the ability to type.
This extended delay seems unnecessary, and it interferes with learned behaviour, negatively impacting UX. I'm repeatedly finding myself starting to retype the password before its actually ready. This change in behaviour is disrupting my flow, causing me to waste time accidentally submitting partial passwords, waiting to get to try again, having to take care to then wait a few seconds watching the screen until finally the cursor starts blinking again.
I don't mind the new shaking thing it does, but please at least remove the delay that occurs after the shaking effect.
