Is there a way to prevent gnome-remote-desktop from loading the nvidia kernel modules on optimus systems?
On NVIDIA optimus laptops it is often useful to unload the nvidia kernel modules to allow the NVIDIA gpu to power down in order to save power. Gnome-remote-desktop prevents nvidia, nvidia_uvm, and nvidia_modeset from unloading. In my case, I am not even sure I want gnome-remote-desktop using the NVIDIA gpu at all and instead to just use the integrated Intel gpu.
