Many users might not realize that GNOME Remote Desktop's system mode
requires that GDM is running. GNOME Remote Desktop will not listen on its
RDP port until it detects that GDM is running. This can be puzzling,
since nothing other than the source code indicates why. (See the
grd_daemon_system_is_ready() function.)
