Do not delete notes with Ctrl+Delete

Description
With Notes 3.14 (maybe even before, I have Fedora 21) you can delete a note when its open if you click Ctrl+Delete.
Could this shortcut be either changed to another (Meta+Delete, Shift+Delete...) or could the user change it?
Other GNOME apps, like gedit for example allow you to delete the next word from where your cursor is with that exact same shortcut, which made me delete the same note today more than 10 times already (yes, I'm so used to use Ctrl+Delete when working on text).
btw. thanks for the great of having a trash were to recover notes from! That saved my day!
Version: 3.14.x
