User interface: fonts and colors
First, thanks for the excellent note-taking program. It was a great idea to restrict the notes within a window instead of splashing them around in separate windows, like most other 'virtual post-it-notes' programs do. However, there are some issues with fonts and colors within the UI:
- Is there a way to control the font used in note preview? Currently, the font size is two or three sizes larger than the global font used in the desktop (The "size" setting is set to "small"). The preview should definitely use either the same font and font size as defined by desktop, or use the font and font size defined within the program for editor use.
- The font color choosing logic does not work. For example, I get white font on light blue background, or black font on dark red background. It would be much better to use just one fixed color (black or white according to the desktop theme), or make the color user-definable.
- It is annoying that copying text from note copies also the color and size information of the text. For example, if I copy something from a note with white text and paste it to a note with black text, the copied/pasted part stays white, and I've not found any method to make the note uniformly colored. Also, it sometimes creates problems when pasting something to a terminal.
