Thousands of albums makes the program nearly unusable
Description
The app is not optimized to be able to load thousands of albums efficiently. It constantly freezes and uses lots of CPU.
Steps To Reproduce
- Add a few thousand audio files
- Give each file a unique album metadata and album art
- Place in Music folder and open Music
- Scroll down
Expected Behaviour
App should run well.
Actual Behaviour
App lags and freezes constantly. If the album list is still, it seems fairly responsive, but try to scroll, and it will majorly lag and freeze trying to load in the new album art, or possibly from trying to scroll thousands of GtkButtons? I don't know what the bottleneck is, but somehow other music apps can handle loads of albums efficiently.
