Do not use pan/zoom animations to relocate the view to faraway search results (in another country/continent)
This is the behavior in 46 beta / nightly:
GNOME_Maps_46_beta_zoom_pan_animations_on_faraway_search_results
It doesn't really make sense, because:
- The user has to wait many seconds with blank flying-by maps until they get relocated
- We waste system resources trying to draw those vector tiles for nothing (they'll immediately get thrown out off-view!) during the whole motion, so it's a performance, power consumption and data consumption problem. While it might look reasonably fast in the video above, that's partly because I have resized the window to a minuscule size.
Solution: for faraway distances, just jump straight to the destination's region, without animation (or maybe a crossfade, but I don't think that's necessary).
