Fails to start up properly on non-systemd init
In 43fbc58d one of the changes involved removing gnome-flashback
from required_components_common, which results in it not getting launched without systemd.
Note that the GNOME desktop can be used without the systemd init, usually using, for example, elogind (which is a heavily stripped down fork of libsystemd). Some distros, particularly those that support musl libc, do this do to lack of support for musl libc in upstream systemd without extremely large, non-trivial, patches.
I'm wondering if having gnome-flashback
in required_components_common
can be a build option (assuming it interferes with the systemd service), or if this is just something that should be patched downstream if necessary (since it is just a one line change), or if you recommend something else?
