Minimize color scheme bug with Yaru theme
Steps to reproduce:
- Enable the Yaru-dark theme. (E.g. Gnome Tweaks -> Appearance -> Yaru-dark)
- Open a few windows.
- Minimize the window that currently has focus by clicking on it in the bottom panel.
Expected result:
The background and font color of all unrelated windows should remain unchanged.
Actual result:
The background and font color of all windows are changed with lower contrast.
More details:
This issue seems to occur only when clicking on the window in the bottom panel to either minimize or unminimize it. It does not seem to occur when using the button in the top right of the window to minimize or when using Alt+Tab to unminimize.
This does not occur with any of the themes I've tried other than Yaru. After this bug occurs, switching back and forth between themes does not fix the issue.
Once the bug occurs, I'm able to fix the colors by rebooting. This bug affects all windows, including those on other workspaces.
Due to the low contrast, it is very difficult to see which window has focus.
Example:
- Open 3 windows where the 3rd window has focus.
- Minimize the 3rd window by clicking the button in the top right. The 2nd window gains focus. The color scheme remains good:
- Unminimize the 3rd window by clicking on it on the bottom pane. The 3rd window gains focus. The colors scheme becomes bad:
Related Bug:
A similar bug occurs with the font color of the clock, but I've been unable to reliably reproduce this. It is not caused by minimizing/unminimizing windows and it doesn't happen as often for me, so I haven't been able to narrow it down further. It might also occur with the "Applications" and "Places" font color, but I've only seen this occur once and was unable to reproduce it.
