gnome-disk-image-mounter no longer prompts for LUKS image passwords
Reported Issue
I have several LUKS images that I mount from the commandline using:
gnome-disk-image-mounter --writable <path/to/file>
Previously, this popped up a Gnome prompt to enter the password automatically. However, now this is only creating the loop device:
but not triggering the unlock operation:
Clicking on the "1.1 GB Encrypted" entry above finally brings up the expected password prompt:
Steps to Reproduce
dd if=/dev/zero of=/tmp/temp-luks-image bs=128M count=1
sudo cryptsetup luksFormat /tmp/temp-luks-image
# type YES, then use the password "not too simplistic/systematic"
gnome-disk-image-mounter --writable /tmp/temp-luks-image
Expected Behavior
Password prompt would immediately display.
