Apply display settings to GDM session
requested to merge rastersoft/gnome-control-center:allow_to_copy_monitor_configuration_to_gdm into main
This MR adds a button ("Apply the current display settings to the login screen", see capture below) to the DISPLAYS tab in Gnome Control Center that, when pressed, copies the current 'monitors.xml' file to the GDM configuration.
This allows to have the Login window in the main monitor. Even allows to setup an specific mode (for example, "mirroring"), copy it into GDM, and then restore the configuration to the desired by the user for the session. This fixes the problem of not being able to see the login entry in some multi-monitor setups (like when you have a laptop with an external screen, and the laptop is placed behind it).
