Nightlight "forgets" to switch off
Detailed description of the issue. Put as much information as you can, potentially with images showing the issue.
Steps to reproduce:
- (I have two (external) displays connected to the laptop, laptop screen is off)
- use GNOME on wayland
- Open GNOME Settings
- Change Nightlight to "on" (in my case even automatic schedule)
- when nightlight is applied, (both screens show warmer color temperature), put laptop to sleep
- in the morning, after sunrise, wake up laptop
- one of two displays shows nightlight, one does not. This is connected to wayland, it does not happen with GNOME on X.
- there is no other way to "correct" color temperature on the display still showing nightlight, other than reboot
This happens with GNOME 3.36, but I've also seen this with 3.34 and 3.32
