Changing output device configuration changes output device for split of a second
- Fedora 32
- g-c-c 3.36.1
When changing the output device configuration of my headphones (from H2P/HFP to A2DP Sink) connected via Bluetooth the output device changes to my the built-in speakers of my laptop for the split of a second.
This is absolutely unexpected and disturbs the people around you when you are in a quite environment.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open GNOME Settings
- Connect Bluetooth headphones which support at least two Bluetooth protocols (in my case Bose QC35 II which support H2P/HFP and A2DP Sink)
- Select them as the output device
- Chang the configuration from H2P/HFP to A2DP Sink and vice versa
- During the change, hear the sound being outputted using your built-in/primary speakers
