Sleep/standby: resume does not scan for new displays
Linux 5.1.15-300.fc30.x86_64
(Fedora 30)
GNOME Version 3.32.2
Steps to reproduce:
- Set up multi-display options (built-in + projector/VGA)
- Put laptop to standby
- Plug in a different display onto VGA (4. Resume from standby)
What happens
- The new display on VGA is treated as the old one, with name and available resolutions matching the old one
- The multi-display modes do not work as expected, i.e. only primary or mirror work; join/extend or projector only blank both displays
Expected
On resume, I would expect for the system to acknowledge VGA connector display change
