Cannot add YSoft SafeQ connected network printer
There is no equivalent of selecting YSoft SafeQ connected network printer and entering sqport://[IP address]/[queue]
as in the CUPS web UI or the good old system-config-printer
(as suggested by the printer manual).
- Distribution: Fedora 29
- gnome-control-center: 3.30.2-1.fc29
Steps to reproduce:
- Open GNOME Settings
- Go to Devices → Printers
- Click Unlock
- Click Add
- Enter IP Address of the printer or
sqport://[IP address]/[queue]
(the result is the same) - Select any of the options.
- Select Generic PostScript driver
- Dialog "Failed to add new printer"
