Request for an improvement for Accessibility side of scroll bars
Scroll bars do not have a value set.
This causes us to not be able to scroll the page in automation testing of GNOME Control Center.
Values that are present in other applications are value, minValue, maxValue
. We usually are navigating the page by simply doing <object>.value = <object>.maxValue
which will scroll the page to the bottom.
I can see the same issue on rhel-10 and fedora-rawhide.
Versions:
- gnome-control-center-46.0.1-1.fc41.x86_64
- gnome-control-center-46.0.1-1.el10.x86_64
To reproduce what I am seeing:
- Open Settings
- Go to Accessibility
- Open Typing section so we get another scroll bar
- Run the reproducer
Reproducer: https://gitlab.com/modehnal/data_repository/-/raw/main/scroll_bars_reproducer.py?ref_type=heads
An example output from the reproducer is: ["scroll bar: value:'None'", "scroll bar: value:'None'"]
On rhel-10 and rawhide these values are not present. 'Accessible' object has no attribute 'value'
