Remote Desktop: Password can be hard to read
- gnome-control-center 46.0
- Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
The automatically generated passwords for System > Remote Desktop > Desktop Sharing and System > Remote Desktop > Remote Login can be difficult to read accurately if commonly confused characters are used. Especially lower case l and upper case I in sans serif fonts. Also, the number 1, the vertical bar |, upper case O and the number 0.
The password could be copied and then emailed or otherwise electronically sent to the client computer, but many times, it is easiest to just read the password using the Show Password button.
I suggest using a monospace font which tends to have better readability.
I request Design input because I think there can be a few different ways to tweak the font.
