Workspace/Overview shortcuts missing from Settings when more than one shortcut exists
Affected version
OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
Gnome: 42.4
Window System: X11
Bug summary
Keyboard shortcut list does not show all shortcuts for switching workspaces or toggling the overview.
Steps to reproduce
- Open settings
- Go to keyboard settings
- Click "View and Customize shortcuts"
- Search for "workspace", see that "move to workspace on the left" does not show Super+Alt+Left
- Search for "overview", does not show any keyboard shortcuts for
shift-overview-down
, Super+Alt+Down
What happened
Missing shortcuts confused me. I was try Control+Alt+[Arrow] to do these actions and thought it was broken/removed because only Left+Right work (also not listed). I always open the overview before switching workspaces so I can see which one I need to go to, so having all the movements controlled with the arrow keys is important to me.
What did you expect to happen
All shortcuts should be shown for these actions:
- move-workspace-left, move-workspace-right, shift-overview-up: Currently only 1 shortcut is listed. All keyboard shortcuts should be listed
- shift-overview-down: Not listed at all
